Our biggest and best event of the year! South Bay's very own Pride event in Chula Vista's Memorial Park - 351 Park Way in the Heart of the Historic District of downtown Chula Vista (just off the 805 and West "H" Street and 3rd Avenue). Enjoy an afternoon of food, entertainment and fun!

Long time gay & lesbian couples to be honored at South Bay Pride 2008! |
We all know those wonderful couples that have committed to each other in spirit but have been unable to marry before now. Do you know a gay or lesbian couple that has been exceptionally inspirational to you in the South Bay?
We want to honor our couples and let them know we value their relationships as models for the community. Email us their names and contact information. Write how long they have been together and why you believe they are so inspirational. Include your contact information. Deadline for submissions is July 30, 2008. |

South Bay Alliance is building community among LGBT & friends in the South San Diego County. Let's meet everyone and socialize here in the South Bay, connect to LGBT friendly businesses, and mobilize for political action on LGBT issues.
Besides organizing social events, South Bay Alliance also provides you with a centralized source of on-line LGBT information. Our "Be Heard" page gives you a listing of both local and national political resources while our "Resource" page provides local and national listing of LGBT organizations. The "Blog" page keeps you updated with the latest LGBT headline news and our blog along with our newsletter updates keeps you in touch with the current local area political issues and event updates.
Using the 2005 American Community Survey for the San Diego metropolitan area, the South Bay area has at least 17,000 LGBT residents! South Bay Alliance is building a listing of businesses and organizations that are LGBT friendly and support building community in the South Bay. Businesses can let our community know they welcome our patronage while we can visit the "Business Listings" and let them know you appreciate their support!
